Declarations of Interest & Apologies.

Open Forum – Members of the public may address the Parish Council – to assist with smooth running of meeting if possible, please forward a note of any queries to the Clerk prior to the meeting.

Minutes of the Meetings held on 10th July 2023.

Matters arising -

  1. Police – Sleaford Rural South Neighbourhood Policing Team Notices Community Speed Watch – Community Speed Watch 30mph signs collected.  
  2. Neighbourhood Plan – final report update
  3. Highway & footpath matters – LCC request details local highway and drainage records.  
  4. Tree works – order given to NKDC tree department     
  5. Community Building – (1) maintenance update (2) Renewal hire contract Busy Bees Early Years & Nature Centre (contract matter to be dealt with in closed session)      
  6. Play area, playing field and Community Green – up date – (1) playpark development refurbishment of area –Community Facilities FCC Foundation initial grant application completed – follow on application requirements document received. (2) new gate installed. (3). Application Community Green hire for dog training (contract matter closed session).    
  7.  War Memorial – entrance slope- order given for entrance step to be installed
  8. Burial Ground & Church Yard – Annual inspection reports  
  9. Queen’s Jubilee & King’s Coronation – trees planted on site check– plaques to be erected following Coronation. Tree guards damaged.
  10. Village Hall – sub-committee for additional land.
  11. Public seating – Guidance and statutory requirements from NKDC. Siting query from LCC to be confirmed.
  12. Villager of the Year Award
  13. Correspondence received to date including – (1). Beacon Fen Energy Project revised details. (2) National Highways – notification essential works A46 Winthorpe Roundabout to Brough Lane,
  14. Planning matters received to date including – Erection of single storey rear extension 2 Jessop Close Leasingham  Planning Reference 23/0890/HOUS
  15.   Accounts – confirmation of accounts report previously circulated and authorisation of payments.
  16. Items for information only plus date of next PC Meeting
  17. Closed Session – due to confidential matters PC move to closed session.
