Parish Councillor Vacancy

Open Forum – Members of the public may address the Parish Council – to assist with smooth running of meeting if possible, please forward a note of any queries to the Clerk prior to the meeting.

Minutes of the Meetings held on 5th December 2022.

Matters arising -

1. Police & Community Speed Watch – order speed limit signs.   

2. Neighbourhood Plan

3. Highway & footpath matters –     

4. Tree works – order given to NKDC tree department     

5. Community Building – maintenance update – defibrillator received complimentary installation dated to be confirmed.       

6. Play area, playing field and Community Green – up date – (a) playpark development refurbishment of area – commencement of work initial order given children’s swing unit and zip wire. (b) community green boundary hedge, new gate installation, asbestos report onsite buildings (c) Leasingham Junior Football Club carparking site meeting report.

7.  War Memorial – entrance slope. Burial Ground – hedge trimming  

8. Queen’s Jubilee – PC arrangements/choice of tree/broad leaved lime confirmation of order to be planted community open space back of St. Andrew’s Church yard. 

9. Village Hall – Villager of the Year Notice Board update, repairs to clock tower support from Community Benefit Fund.   

10. Correspondence received to date including – a. Confirmation of Code of Conduct completion of forms – chase up. b.NKDC Charity Quiz Night Brains of Kesteven Friday 10th March 2023, c. River Slea Flood Resilience Project newsletter, d. Grants of up to £100,000 for Community Facilities FCC Community Foundation.

11.Planning matters received to date including – 1. Erection of single storey side extension to replace garage and carport and erection double garage along with internal and external alterations – The Rectory 3 Moor Lane Leasingham Planning Ref. 22/1749/HOUS.    

12. Accounts – confirmation of accounts report previously circulated and authorisation of payments.

13. Setting of Parish Precept for the year 01.04.23 to 31.03.24

14. Items for information only plus date of next PC MeetingClosed Session – due to confidential matters PC move to closed session.
