AGENDA

  1. Declarations of Interest & Apologies. Introduction to meeting of new Parish Clerk Eddie Findlay.
  2. Open Forum – Members of the public may address the Parish Council – to assist with smooth running of meeting, if possible, please forward a note of any queries to the Clerk prior to the meeting.
  3. Minutes of the Meetings held on 13th November 2023.
  4. Matters arising and additional correspondence
  1. Police Engagement Session North & South Kesteven 7th December online meeting -    Lincs Police Priority Setting Meeting & Community Speed Watch update.  
  2. Play area, playing field and Community Green
  3. Neighbourhood Plan.
  4. Highway & footpath matters –1. Report - damaged highway sign top Captains Hill . 2. Request resurfacing footpath/overgrown hedge - The Square.      
  5. Tree works – order given to NKDC tree department     
  6. Community Building – (1) Maintenance update – Air Conditioning Units Service Agreement carried out  (2) Busy Bees Early Years & Nature Centre proposal use of Community Green (contract matter to be dealt with in closed session) amended meeting up date – (3) playpark development refurbishment of area –Community Facilities FCC Foundation initial grant application completed – follow on application requirements document received Chairman signed ongoing completion document - Contractors request permission to park works vehicles at playing field site. (4)) Grounds maintenance – update.      
  7. War Memorial & Flag pole – possibility of entrance gate to be moved update – Flag Pole broken removed. 
  8. Burial Ground & Church and Church Yard – condition following flooding.    
  9. Queen’s Jubilee & King’s Coronation – trees planted on site check– plaques to be erected following Coronation.
  10. Village Hall – sub-committee for additional land update proposed meeting.
  11. Public seating – Guidance and statutory requirements from NKDC sent to Insurance Company for confirmation. Reply forwarded to NKKDC for approval update and siting position.
  12. Flooding Report – follow on future action plan – NKDC carrying out extensive surveys for whole District to be passed to LCC Lead Authority
  13. St. Andrew’s CofE Primary School – extension – application for works parking at playing field update.
  14. Correspondence received to date including - (1) NKDC Christmas and New Year Bin Collection dates (2) NKDC – Domestic Abuse poster. (3) NKDC Digital Hubs details. (4) The Sleaford Navigation Trust Newsletter. (5) 1st Leasingham Scout Group (5) Duke of Wellington (Community Benefit Fund) request for grant towards Christmas Tree & Main light displays. (6) LIVES thank you Certificate £100.00 donation (2023). (7) Sleaford Navigation Trust Autumn Newsletter (8) Town & Parish Council Newsletter   
  15. Planning matters received to date including – 1.  Application Approval Notice– Erection 1m picket fence to front and side boundaries 53 St. Johns Close Planning Ref.23/1148/HOUS  2. Application Refusal Notice – Erection of one and half storey dwelling Land off Lincoln Road Leasingham Planning Ref.23/0546/FUL.     
  16.  Accounts – confirmation of accounts report previously circulated and authorisation of payments.
