Leasingham & Roxholm Parish Council Agenda & Meeting Notice
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hereby give you notice that a meeting of Leasingham and Roxholm Parish Council will be held on
Monday 08 January 2024, starting at 7pm, at the Spring Lane Community Building. Members of the public and press are welcome to attend, and a Public Forum session will be available during the meeting for a maximum of 15 minutes. Alternatively, questions or short statements can be submitted to the Clerk in advance of the meeting.
All Members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Agenda
1. To receive apologies for absence and reasons given, i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.
2. To receive declarations of interest and to consider dispensation applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.
3. Public Forum.
4. Notes of the ordinary meeting of the Parish Council held at the Community Building at the Playing Field on Monday 11 December 2023 to be approved as Minutes.
5. Receive reports from the Clerk in relation to the minutes and other Council matters.
No resolutions may be passed under this item but requests for matters to be placed on the next agenda can be made.

6. Financial Matters
a. Approve payments made since the last meeting.
b. Approve the payments of invoices etc. as listed on the Payments to be Authorised sheet.
c. Approve the bank reconciliation from the previous month.
d. Consider the cost for a replacement flagpole near the War Memorial, following vandalism and storm damage.
e. Consider the cost to move the gate on the War Memorial to allow for easier access.
f. Consider the purchase of a bench to be sited on the green at St. Andrew’s Crescent.
g. Consider grant applications for Community Benefit Fund assistance from 1st Leasingham Scout Group.
h. Consider grant applications for Community Benefit Fund assistance from Duke of Wellington Pub.
i. Consider the purchase of a laptop, Office 365 and anti-virus software packages for the Clerk.
j. Consider the offer from Vale Sport of an additional piece of play equipment, at a discounted rate, for the park.
7. Planning Matters.
a. 23/1503/HOUS – Erection of single storey side/rear extension. Location: Cherry Trees Roxholme Road Leasingham Sleaford Lincolnshire NG34 8NQ. Parish Council comments required by 13 January 2024.
b. 23/1508/LDEXI – Application for a lawful development certificate for existing use – Proposed erection of 9no. dwellings; comprising 7no. detached custom-build homes, 1no. pair of semi-detached dwellings for affordable home ownership, ancillary garaging and associated vehicular access & circulation - commencement of groundworks (20/0577/FUL). Location: Land Off Spring Lane Leasingham Sleaford. Parish Council comments required by 27 January 2024.
