Agenda & Meeting Notice

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hereby give you notice that a meeting of Leasingham and Roxholm Parish Council will be held on
Monday 12 August 2024, starting at 7pm, at the Spring Lane Community BuildingMembers of the public and press are welcome to attend, and a Public Forum session will be available during the meeting for a maximum of 15 minutes.  Alternatively, questions or short statements can be submitted to the Clerk in advance of the meeting via email clerk@leasinghamroxhol.gov.uk.

All Members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Agenda

1.

To receive apologies for absence and reasons given, i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.

2.

To receive declarations of interest and to consider dispensation applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

3.

Public Forum and reports from District and County Councillors.

4.

Notes of an Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council held at the Community Building at the Playing Field on Monday 08 July 2024 to be approved as Minutes.

5.

Receive reports from the Clerk and Councillors in relation to the minutes and other Council matters.
No resolutions may be passed under this item but requests for matters to be placed on the next agenda can be made.

6.

Financial Matters

  1. Approve payments made since the last meeting.
  2. Approve the payments of invoices etc. as listed on the Payments to be Authorised sheet.
  3. Approve the bank reconciliation for July 2024.
  4. Note the preliminary findings from the External Auditor for FY 2023/2024.
  5. Consider the services of an Internal Auditor for the current FY 2024/2025.

7.

Planning Matters.

  1. 24/0884/HOUS – Erection of single storey rear extension and new insulated flat roof to existing flat roof element at 4 Jessop Close Leasingham, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 8LJ.

8.

Correspondence.
Current list circulated.

9.

Consider support to Manor Farm Shop, and possibly other establishments, in their application for a Brown Tourism sign.

10.

Consider the draft Health & Safety Policy, to be reviewed and amended as necessary for adoption.

11.

Receive an update on the Emergency Plan.

12.

Consider the request from a parishioner for them to host a “picnic in the park” event.

13.

Consider whether to have signage on Community Building and if so, the wording.

14.

Consider dates to ‘dedicate’ the new bench installed at St. Andrew’s Crescent and install the two plaques by the celebration trees, planted for the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.

15.

Confirm the date of the next meeting.
