Agenda & Meeting Notice

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hereby give you notice that a meeting of Leasingham and Roxholm Parish Council will be held on Monday 11 August 2025, starting at 7:00pm, at the Spring Lane Community Building.

Members of the public and press are welcome to attend, and a Public Forum session will be available during the meeting for a maximum of 15 minutes.  Alternatively, questions or short statements can be submitted to the Clerk in advance of the meeting via clerk@leasinghamroxholm-pc.gov.uk  

All Members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Agenda

1.  To receive apologies for absence and reasons given, i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.

2.  To receive declarations of interest and to consider dispensation applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

3.  Public Forum and reports from County and District Councillors.

4.  Notes of the ordinary meeting of Leasingham and Roxholm Parish Council held at the Community Building at the Playing Field on Monday 14 July 2025 to be approved as Minutes.

5.  Receive reports from the Clerk and Councillors in relation to the minutes and other Council matters.
No resolutions may be passed under this item but requests for matters to be placed on the next agenda can be made.

6.  Financial Matters.
a.  Approve payments made since the last meeting.
b.  Approve the payments of invoices etc. as listed on the Payments to be Authorised sheet.
c.  Approve the bank reconciliation for July 2025.
d.  Consider the cost of printing the Emergency Storage flyers.
e.  Consider the cost for the next Play Area Annual Inspection.
f.  Consider any Community Benefit Fund Applications.

7.  Planning Matters.
a.  None notified at this time.

8.  Correspondence.
Current list circulated.

9.  Update for Villager of the Year.

10.  Receive a report from Cllr Chambers of the condition of the field and consider a course of action.

11.  Confirm the date of the next meeting.

12.  To resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act  1960, as amended by Section 100 of the Local Government Act 1972 to discuss the following matters.
a.  Clerk contract matters – Local Government Services Pay Award.
