Agenda & Meeting Notice

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hereby give you notice that a meeting of Leasingham and Roxholm Parish Council will be held on Monday 14 September 2026, starting at 7pm, at the Spring Lane Community Building.  Members of the public and press are welcome to attend, and a Public Forum session will be available during the meeting for a maximum of 15 minutes.  Alternatively, questions or short statements can be submitted to the Clerk in advance of the meeting via email clerk@leasinghamroxholm-pc.gov.uk .

All Members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Please note, the meeting will be recorded to allow for correct minute taking and the recording will be delated once the Minutes have been approved

Agenda

1.  To receive apologies for absence and reasons given, i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.

2.  To receive declarations of interest and to consider dispensation applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

3.  Public Forum and reports from District and County Councillors.

4.  Notes of the Ordinary Parish Council Meeting held at the Community Building at the Playing Field on Monday 10 August 2026 to be approved as Minutes.

5.  Receive reports from the Clerk and Councillors in relation to the minutes and other Council matters.
Councillors are requested to use this opportunity to report minor matters of information not included elsewhere on the agenda and to raise items for future agendas.  Councillors are respectfully reminded that this is not an opportunity for debate or decision making.  No resolutions may be passed under this item.

6.  Financial Matters.
a.  Approve payments made since the last meeting.
b.  Approve the payments of invoices etc. as listed on the Payments to be Authorised sheet.
c.  Approve the bank reconciliation for August 2026.
d.  Consider the quote to clear the Beck, of vegetation, alongside the Church, under riparian rules.
e.  Consider a quote to cut back the yew trees that are overhanging the footway at the front of the Church.
f.  Consider a donation, using s.137, to the Royal British Legion for a Poppy Wreath, in preparation of Remembrance Sunday 08 November 2026.
g.  Consider the purchase of surface protection grids for the car park edges.

7.  Planning Matters.
None received at the time of publishing the agenda.

8.  Correspondence.
Current list circulated.

9.  Church of St. Andrew’s Churchyard.  Receive a report from Cllr Bailey.

10.  Consider the request for access to the strip of land adjacent to 7 Roxholm Road, to allow for boundary work to be undertaken.

11.  Confirm the date of the next meeting.

12.  To resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act  1960, as amended by Section 100 of the Local Government Act 1972 to discuss the following matters.
a.  Employment matters – Local Government Services Pay Award.
b.  Consider the Terms of Business and No Search Risk letter with regard to land at rear of 44 Lincoln Road.
c.  Consider a course of action with regard to potential land management disputes.
