Agenda & Meeting Notice

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hereby give you notice that a meeting of Leasingham and Roxholm Parish Council will be held on Monday 10 August 2026, starting at 7pm, at the Spring Lane Community Building.  Members of the public and press are welcome to attend, and a Public Forum session will be available during the meeting for a maximum of 15 minutes.  Alternatively, questions or short statements can be submitted to the Clerk in advance of the meeting via email clerk@leasinghamroxholm-pc.gov.uk.

All Members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted at the meeting, as set out hereunder.

Agenda

1.  To receive apologies for absence and reasons given, i.a.w. Local Government Act 1972, Sch 12, para 40.

2.  To receive declarations of interest and to consider dispensation applications in relation to Disclosable Pecuniary Interests.

3.  Public Forum and reports from District and County Councillors.

4.  Notes of the Ordinary Parish Council Meeting held at the Community Building at the Playing Field on Monday 13 July 2026 to be approved as Minutes.

5.  Consider any applications for Councillor Co-Option.

6.  Receive reports from the Clerk and Councillors in relation to the minutes and other Council matters.
Councillors are requested to use this opportunity to report minor matters of information not included elsewhere on the agenda and to raise items for future agendas.  Councillors are respectfully reminded that this is not an opportunity for debate or decision making.  No resolutions may be passed under this item.

7.  Financial Matters.
a.  Approve payments made since the last meeting.
b.  Approve the payments of invoices etc. as listed on the Payments to be Authorised sheet.
c.  Approve the bank reconciliation for July 2026.
d.  Consider a of change bank for the Parish Council accounts.
e.  Consider the purchase of additional materials for playing field repairs.

8.  Planning Matters.
a.  26/0869/HOUS – Erection of car port to side elevation at 45 Lincoln Road, Leasingham, NG34 8JT.
b.  NKDC response to land at St. John’s Close query.

9.  Correspondence.
Current list circulated.

10.  Consider engaging a Pest Control Officer with regard to the rabbit infestation of the play area and field.

11.  Confirm the date of the next meeting.
